SUMMER PROGRAM
2024 French Nature Summer Program
Our seventeenth year of our Art, Music and Science French Summer Program offers a creative, nurturing and relaxed experience for children ages three through seven years.
Children of all levels and French-speaking backgrounds are encouraged to speak French naturally while engaged in captivating workshops designed to both educate and entertain. Our integrated approach specifically engages the child in lively and creative activities to enhance developmentally appropriate skills in a foreign language. We believe in a supportive and encouraging learning environment where children feel a part of our learning community and are prepared to take risks in a safe space.
The daily schedule therefore includes a balance of stimulating and relaxing developmentally appropriate activities. Outdoor activities will take place in the neighborhood parks and playgrounds. Our full-day program is from 9:30AM – 2:30PM and includes time for children to eat a home brought lunch.
Whether your child is in a Dual-Language French Program, a native French speaker, or curious about the French language and would like to start learning – our teachers will find a place of fun and joy to hear and speak French. Learn through play-based engagement and projects that are fueled by the children’s individual interests and preferences.

We are pleased to announce that we are now accepting new and returning camper registrations for our 2024 French immersion summer camp.
Our summer camp will take place every day in Fort Greene Park where teachers aim to provide. Our students will expand on their abilities to cope with the environment by solving real-world issues and building self-belief. This program will help participants to become resilient, creative and independent learners.
The themes have been chosen to help the children develop a love and respect for their environment. To see the beauty in tall trees and the tiny creatures, and to feel a connection so deep that they grow up to be good stewards of their world.
We will meet in the park every day unless it is raining, in which case we will meet at our location, on Nevins Street, in Boerum Hill.
The French language is taught naturally in this all-immersive environment and through the various artistic projects.

Our French Summer Mini-Camp for children up to 3 years old will delight young French learners. They are child and caregiver participation and attendance. No French knowledge is expected of caregivers, but we hope you come in with an open mind and heart to be part of the experience and fun!
Mini-Camp will take place in our school, in Boerum Hill. Children will be immersed in music, instruments, singing, rhythm, poetry, and art, and they will connect with natural elements through their five senses – all in French. This camp for young children, filled with songs and movement games, also incorporates visual arts and begins to gently explore preschool themes, such as colors, shapes, sizes, and animals.
Please note that this class requires a minimum for 8 children enrolled per week.
