Tania grew up between Cairo, Egypt and San Juan, Puerto Rico before going on to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Comparative Literature at Reed College. Their truly international upbringing led them towards learning French and developing a deeply held passion for the varied cultures of the Francophone world. At Reed, they completed a capstone thesis which read Caribbean Modernists in conversation with Irish literature, focusing on Aimé Césaire, Édouard Glissant, James Joyce and W. B. Yeats. They took their passion for the French language with them as a teaching assistant at the Primary level in Paris. They are thrilled to join the LLS community and become part of a truly exemplary early childhood learning experience.
