Born and raised in windy Trieste, Italy, Lucrezia is a true language enthusiast. She holds a BA in Modern and Medieval Languages from the University of Cambridge and, as part of her studies, she spent a year in Paris at the École Normale Supérieure while also working at Flammarion.
After completing her language teacher qualifications in at the University of Cambridge, Lucrezia went straight into the classroom, teaching French, Italian, and Spanish to British students aged 11–18. There, she worked to master the art of making grammar fun and keeping students engaged—an art she continues to refine today at the Language & Laughter Studio and at L’Alliance New York, working with kids and adults alike. Alongside her teaching, she also works occasionally as a freelance translator of French, Italian, and English and in her free time she loves reading, dancing, and going to the theater.
