In early spring, we gathered in the rolling fields of Hawthorne Valley for our first-ever family retreat, a long weekend rooted in soil, connection, and shared discovery. Over three days, children explored the farm with their hands deep in compost and curiosity. Parents found space to reflect through workshops on regenerative agriculture, food systems, and mindful living while also joining their kids in the joyful mess of farm life.

We cooked together, ate together, and learned together. Simple rituals, morning yoga, evening talks, shared meals wove a sense of community that felt both new and deeply familiar. What began as a few families coming together quickly became something much more: a community grounded in care, play, and a shared responsibility to the Earth.
